Page 2 of 2 SurePage Conditions - The availability of the SurePage service depends on the technical capability of the mobile phone to utilise the service.
- The recipient of the SurePage message must also be within Optus Mobile Digital network coverage to receive the SurePage message on the screen of their phone.
- If a Customer’s phone is turned off, or out of coverage, the SurePage message will be resent for up to 7 days (after which it will be deleted) or until it is received.
- The message is stored on the network for 7 days before it is deleted.
- Some older style phones may not support the ability to receive a short message service (SMS), which SurePage utilises for delivery of messages.
- Usage charges for SurePage messages are charged regardless if successfully delivered or not.
- It may take up to 8 days from the original request date for message charges to be applied.
- If a customer decides to port away from Optus, any Optus service previously provisioned will be unavailable from the time of the successful port, this includes all SMS and VoiceMail messages whether pending or stored.
- Availability of Optus Mobile digital services are subject to handset compatibility.
