This section contains instruction guides on the most commonly used features.  Optional features are not included in standard line rental charges and are charge at the Standard Feature rates.  BEST telecom regrets that we are not able to offer the following features of benefits with some of our plans:-

  • Home Messages 101 (replaced by Telstra MessageBank)
    This is only available as a direct Telstra customer.  The replacement product is Telstra MessageBank.  If you do not require external access to your messages, it is probably more convenient to have a cordless phone with an integrated answering machine such as the Telstra 8400a now available from BEST telecom
  • Pensioner Discount
    This is only available as a direct Telstra customer, although most BEST telecom plans will work our more cost effective if you make any sort of call volume, eg. above $35 per month.
  • Quarterly Billing or Priority Assistance for Life Threatening Medical Conditions
    This is only available as a direct Telstra customer.  Please refer to the ACIF code regarding regarding Priority Assistance.
